The Twin Moons of Ulfhednar is a dramatic interpretation of early Norse axe symbolism, inspired by the feared berserkers and wolf-warriors of Viking legend. Its compact form and double crescent blade evoke ritual axes believed to represent balance, fate, and the dual nature of war and honor in Norse culture.
The hand-forged carbon steel head features opposing crescent edges with a deeply textured forged surface, contrasted by polished cutting edges. This dual-moon profile is reminiscent of ceremonial and mythic weapons associated with elite warriors, skaldic imagery, and sacred rites, rather than common battlefield tools.
Mounted on a straight ashwood shaft, the axe remains lightweight, agile, and well-balanced.
